Beijing, December 8 (KCNA) -- Chen Changzhi, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, called for developing the education in law observance.

Addressing a round-table talk held in Beijing recently, the vice-chairman said that the education is an important and basic issue for governing the country by law.

The official also underscored the need to introduce the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics in a profound way to improve public understanding and view of the law.
