Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- U.S. Congress, political parties and military are talking nonsense about "threats" from the DPRK.

A bylined article of Rodong Sinmun Saturday terms it a reversed theory of "threat", stressing that "threats" come to the DPRK from the U.S.

The U.S. has no justification to talk about "threats" from someone, the article says, adding:

It has systematically posed nuclear threats to the DPRK from long ago.

Its nuclear blackmail has become pronounced in the new century.

The Korean people were compelled to live in constant tension, being targeted by the U.S. nukes.

This was evidenced by the annual nuclear war exercises the U.S. has staged against the DPRK in south Korea and its vicinity by mobilizing huge nuclear preemptive strike means.

The U.S. theory of "threat" is prompted by its sinister intention.

It is its calculation that if it puts the Korean Peninsula under its control, it can dominate Northeast Asia and, furthermore, the rest of the world including Asia-Pacific.

The U.S. persistent nuclear threat will only force the DPRK to bolster its efforts to cope with it. This is an inviolable independent right of the DPRK.
