Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association released a statement on Dec. 4 in support of the DPRK government's just stand on peaceful nuclear activities.

The statement said:

A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Nov. 30 stated that the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is a legitimate right of all sovereign states and this is a promising way for easing the strain on electricity in the DPRK abundant on its raw materials.

The France-Korea Friendship Association fully supports this stand of the DPRK on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and condemns the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises against the DPRK.

We will intensify the solidarity activities urging dialogue and negotiations for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
