Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- Works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, which clearly show the road ahead of the progressive mankind struggling for independence, have been studied and disseminated in 50 odd countries and regions this year.

They included Kim Il Sung's works "For the Complete Victory of Socialism" and "Let Us Uphold Independence" and Kim Jong Il's work "The Songun-based Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-victorious Banner of Revolution".

Full texts or gists of the works were carried by media of different countries, among them Huan Qiu Shibao of China, ITAR-TASS of Russia, "F.M. 90.5" Radio of Cambodia, Democratic Congo's newspaper L'Avenir, Uruguayan newspaper La Juventud and Romanian newspaper Muncitoare of Romania.

Political parties, organizations and regional bodies carried in bulletins or posted on Internet homepages those works. They included the Brazilian Communist Party, the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea, the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea and the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions.

Over 70 units published the works in pamphlet and e-book and had ceremonies of releasing them. Among the units were the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People, the German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association, the Lao State Publishing House and the Publishing House of the Workers' Party of Mexico.

Seminars, briefings and reading sessions on the works were held under the sponsorships of many political parties, organizations and institutions.
