Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of scientific research findings by academic degree holders took place at the Grand People's Study House.

On display were more than 430 new scientific and technological data, over 400 products and at least 560 kinds of books. It was held divided into sections of social science, natural science, agricultural science and medical science.

Kim Il Sung University, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, the Academy of Social Sciences and other units put on display books comprehensively dealing with original ideologies and theories, leadership, noble traits and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Drawing the attention of participants were books in the fields of political theory, historical science, literature and art, sports, etc.

Appreciated at the exhibition were findings by research institutes under the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, University of Science and a lot of other units.

The Academy of Agricultural Science, Wonsan University of Agriculture, etc. presented valuable research findings which solved scientific and technological issues arising in breeding superior breeds suited to the climate of Korea and promoting agricultural production, stock farming, fruit farming and agricultural administration.

Those academic degree holders in the field of medical science presented highly-efficacious medicines, medical treatments, medical apparatuses, etc.
