Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The puppet marine corps of south Korea staged shelling exercises on Paekryong Island and Yonphyong Island in the West Sea of Korea on Monday, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

The puppet warlike forces, claiming "getting versed in prompt punishment posture in case of emergency", mobilized varieties of artillery pieces deployed on the islands and fired tens of thousands of shells at random into the surrounding waters for 2 hours.

The warmongers continue to stage firing drills in the West Sea of Korea where the north and the south stand in acute showdown.
