Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea released the 30th issue of its bulletin to mark the 20th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 94th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The bulletin in an article titled "Defender of Socialism" said:

Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il visited the military post covered with shrub pine trees on Jan. 1, 1995, the first New Year's Day after the demise of President Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, to hold higher the banner of Songun.

He formulated the Songun policy as the basic political mode under socialism and put forward the People's Army as the main force of the revolution.

In an article titled "Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill" the bulletin introduced the mill associated with the leadership feats of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.

The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy released a bulletin "Invincible Power" on Dec. 8 to mark the 20th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of KPA supreme commandership.

His assumption of KPA supreme commandership enabled the DPRK to advance dynamically along the road of socialism despite the imperialists' anti-DPRK moves, displaying its dignity as the invincible power, the bulletin said.

Thanks to his Songun policy the politico-ideological position of the DPRK has been cemented in every way and the single-minded unity of the Korean society strengthened into the solidest one that can not be broken even by nuclear weapon, it added.
