Moscow, December 14 (KCNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, some days ago, warned NATO of its attempt to inveigle Georgia into it.

In its recently released communique NATO reportedly listed Georgia as one of the nations desirous of NATO membership.

Georgia made an indiscreet decision in August 2008 because it had already been announced that the country would surely become a NATO member, Lavrov said.

He urged NATO not to instigate Georgia to repeat such an adventurous act voluntarily or involuntarily.
