Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Syrian Foreign Ministry refuted France's groundless charge against Syria.

France has charged that Syria was behind the injuries five French peace-keeping soldiers suffered in Lebanon on Sunday.

In a statement Monday the spokesman said the charge is nothing but a trite fabrication and slander against Syria.
