Exploits of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Suk Lauded

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Russia and Nigeria on Dec. 8 posted special write-ups on Internet homepage on the 20th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 94th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The Young Communist League of Russian Federation posted an article under the title of "Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il" with his photo.

The article said:

The supreme commander has put the defense capability of the DPRK on the highest level.

He laid down a line of economic construction in the era of Songun and made sure that the country pushed forward the work to modernize the defense industry on its own efforts and with its own technology and resources.

He, at the same time, put socialism on a new scientific basis and led the Korean people to victory in the confrontation with the imperialist allied forces, firmly defending socialism.

Recalling that he has brought about a landmark phase in socialist construction, the article pointed out that all the achievements made by the DPRK are the shining fruition of the plans and energetic leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea carried articles entitled "Legendary Woman Guerilla Commander", "Her Immortal Exploits" and "the Mother's Wishes" under the headline "Kim Jong Suk Always Enjoys Praises ".

Noting that Kim Jong Suk is always lauded not only by the Korean people but by the world progressive people, they stressed she left behind lots of stories, while winning fame as an anti-Japanese war hero.

They made a detailed account of the facts that she devoted herself to ensuring the safety of President Kim Il Sung at all times not only during the anti-Japanese war but in the period after the national liberation and brought Kim Jong Il up to be a great successor to the Juche revolutionary cause.
