Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- More U.S. soldiers keen on "anti-terrorist war" in Afghanistan met deaths due to the ceaseless attacks of the resistance forces of the country.

As of Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at least 1,731 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan as a result of the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the U.S. Defense Department.

Since the start of U.S. military operations in Afghanistan, 15,090 U.S. service members have been wounded in hostile actions.
