Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, on Thursday sent a congratulatory message to Al-Sultan Almutasimu Billahi Muhibbudin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Badlishah on his accession to the throne of Malaysia.

Kim in the message sincerely wished the King and people of Malaysia success in their work for development, prosperity and unity of the country.

He also expressed conviction that the friendly relations between the DPRK and Malaysia would steadily develop in keeping with the common interests and desire of the two peoples.
