Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- In Thailand the number of victims due to the flood is on the increase.

As of Dec. 14, the dead increased to 708 and the missed 3.

In the middle region more than 3 600 villages of 9 provinces are still inundated with water and in 8 provinces of the southern region 189 square kilometers of farmland are ruined along with 783 roads and 113 bridges destroyed.

In a province and a region 7 industrial complexes were flooded causing more than one million people to lose their jobs and a lot of economic losses.

The government is taking measures to heal the damage.
