Tehran, December 16 (KCNA) -- Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Shamseddin Hosseini said on Dec. 13 that imposing sanctions on the Central Bank of Iran was "a choice for failure."

Sanctions on the Central Bank of Iran are "illogical," he noted, adding that the country is fully prepared to deal with the Western "mischievous" acts.
