Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The Geographical Book of the Eastern Country is one of the Korean nation's cultural heritages.

The book, published in 1640, deals with the history, topography, capitals, territories and military equipment of Ancient Korea, Koguryo, Paekje, Silla and Koryo. It was printed from wooden blocks and stencil.

The one-volume book was written by Han Paek Gyom (1522-1615), a realist and geographer.
