Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) issued a statement on December 14 in denunciation of the dictatorial forces' suppression.

The police are nowadays intensifying the crackdown on the South Headquarters of Pomminryon while conducting search into its core members and pressmen over what is called "spyring case" and issuing warrants of arrest by dint of the "National Security Law", the statement charged.

The Broadcasting and Communication Committee indicted the headquarters after finding fault with its Internet homepage, the statement pointed out, saying:

Such crackdown is a foolish attempt to quell the growing anti-"government" sentiment.

The people's aspiration for the country's reunification can not be checked with any slander against reunification activities and invention of farce, the statement said, calling upon all the people to turn out to sternly punish the present "government" and the "Grand National Party".
