Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement held a press conference outside the building of the puppet Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on December 15, calling for the repeal of the humiliating FTA with the U.S.

Speakers at the conference noted the chief for trade negotiations of the ministry recently asserted that they would try to make the FTA with the U.S. take effect within February next year.

But, the authorities are refusing even to examine the contents of the "act for implementing the FTA" passed through U.S. Congress, they charged.

The "Grand National Party" railroaded the motion calling for ratification of FTA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade does not hesitate to do sycophantic and treacherous act by discussing in secrecy the procedures for putting the agreement in force, they pointed out.

They demanded an immediate repeal of the FTA.
