Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Juche 100 (2011) was a year when the great Juche idea, the Songun idea has been briskly studied and disseminated worldwide.

This idea with great attraction was studied and disseminated in more than 130 countries and regions.

Works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il showing the path for global independence were published in different countries and their full texts or gists reported by foreign media.

Dozens of units released those works in pamphlet and e-book, carried in bulletin and posted on Internet homepages. Among them were the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Costa Rican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship.

National and joint seminars and regional and international seminars on the Juche idea, the Songun idea took place in various forms on more than 200 occasions.

The Juche idea followers of Bangladesh proposed to convene a world conference on the Juche idea in Pyongyang in April 2012 marking the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung. The 13th Enlarged Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of the Juche Idea adopted a decision in this regard.

The Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and other Juche idea study organizations and personages made public statements in hearty response to this decision.

This year also witnessed the emergence of many study organizations, including the San Luis Potosi Youth Study Group of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, the Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club of Nepal.

The Nepali paper Arpan, the Ugandan paper Sun Rise, the Mexican paper Unidad Nacional, Syria's Central TV and Radio and many other media of the world gave wide publicity to the theoretical contents of the Juche idea and its vitality on various occasions.
