Foreigners Express Condolences to Bier of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international organizations and the military attaches corps here express condolences to the bier of Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, Tuesday.

The Kumsusan Memorial Palace, the mourning place, was engulfed in the bitter sorrow over the loss of the peerlessly elder statesman, the extraordinary illustrious commander of Songun and the peerless patriot who is revered by all people.

Seen standing by the side of the bier was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Jong Un was seen standing guard of honor by the sides of the bier together with members of the National Funeral Committee.

Wreaths were laid in the name of diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and the military attaches corps.

The guests observed a moment's silence before the bier with humblest reverence and went round it.

They expressed deep condolences and sympathy to Kim Jong Un.

He expressed deep thanks for this.

The guests signed the mourners' books.
