Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Organizations in different countries of the world posted special write-ups on their Internet homepages to mark the 20th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 94th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

An article titled "December 24 in the DPRK" illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il was posted on Nepal-Europe, a Nepalese Internet homepage, on Dec. 10.

The Korean people and the world progressives desirous of socialism are significantly commemorating December 24, a meaningful day of the DPRK, the article said, and went on:

Leader Kim Jong Il trained the KPA as an invincible army, thus guaranteeing the security of socialist Korea.

It was thanks to his idea, guidance and strategy and tactics that the U.S.-led imperialists dared not provoke the DPRK.

On the same day the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People posted an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il and Invincible DPRK " on its Internet homepage.

Recalling that Dec. 24 is the day when Kim Jong Il assumed the supreme commandership of the KPA, the article praised him as a great defender of global socialism.

The Poland-DPRK Association posted on its Internet homepage on Dec. 12 an article praising anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk for having performed the undying feats by dedicating herself to the women's emancipation.
