Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Poets and amateur writers across the DPRK created more than 100 poems and lyrics for two days after they heard the sad news that leader Kim Jong Il passed away. Poems "Rise Up, People of Great General" and "Field Car Has Not Stopped" and lyric "Soldiers Do Not Forget General" touch the heartstrings of servicepersons and people. These works depict Kim Jong Il who worked hard day and night making the forced march till the last moments of his life for the prosperity of the country and the people's happiness. Poem "General Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us", lyrics "General Finds Himself among the People" and "May the General's Cause Shine Forever" stress that he is immortal as he devoted himself to the country and the people, regarding it as his maxim to believe in the people as in Heaven. Among pomes are those reflecting the unshakable faith and will of all the servicepersons and people to give a steady continuity to the traditions of Mt. Paektu, holding him in high esteem forever. Poem "Mt. Paektu Stands High" fully shows the people's ideological emotion to be loyal to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, true to the last teachings of Kim Jong Il. |
