Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, Monday received a message of condolences from Abdullah Ⅱ, king of Jordan.

The message said:

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of highest consideration.

It was with the greatest sorrow that I heard the sad news HE Chairman Kim Jong Il demised.

I, on behalf of the people and government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and on my own, express the sincerest condolences to Your Excellency and hope that Your Excellency will overcome sorrow.
