Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- G. Zyuganov, chairman of the C.C., Communist Party of the Russian Federation, together with members of its Leadership visited the DPRK embassy in Moscow on Tuesday to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They laid a floral basket before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and expressed their condolences.

G. Zyuganov said:

I, on behalf of the C.C., Communist Party of the Russian Federation and all the party members and on my own, express deep condolences over the sudden demise of Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and a prominent statesman.

We are firmly convinced that the courageous Korean people would triumphantly advance the Korean revolution, rallied closer around respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation will always support the revolutionary cause of the DPRK.
