Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Upon the authorization of the Cambodian king, a delegation of the Ministry of the Royal Palace of the Cambodian government headed by Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace, paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il on Wednesday.

The delegation laid wreaths before the portrait of Kim Jong Il in the name of the king and the great king and paid silent tribute to him.

The deputy prime minister said that the great king and the great queen were deeply saddened and expressed sincere condolences on his demise.

The delegation paid silent tribute to his portrait again before leaving the embassy.
