Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Ali Akbar Salehi, foreign minister of Iran, visited the DPRK embassy in Tehran on December 21 to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He paid highest tribute to Kim Jong Il.

He said he expressed deep condolences on the sudden demise of Kim Jong Il and sincere sympathy to the government and people of the DPRK on behalf the government and people of Iran.

He made an entry in the mourners' book.
