Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Hasanul Huq Inu, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, issued a statement on Dec. 16 on the 20th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 94th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The feats performed by Kim Jong Suk for the independence of the country and the building of the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces true to the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung will always shine with the victorious advance of the KPA, the statement said, adding:

The victories won by the army and people of the DPRK in the showdown with the U.S. and socialist construction greatly encourage progressive humankind aspiring after independence, peace and justice.

WE extend firm solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people, expressing belief that the army and people of the DPRK would register great successes in accomplishing the cause of building a thriving socialist nation under the uplifted great banner of Songun.

Meanwhile, the Stoke-on-Trent Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a statement on Dec.14 praising the feats of Kim Jong Il on the 20th anniversary of his assumption of the supreme commandership of the KPA.
