Consolatory Letter to Kim Jong Un from Military Attaches Corps

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a consolatory letter from the military attaches corps here over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Doyen of the corps Nguyen Van Lich, military attache of the Vietnamese embassy, handed the letter over to an official concerned on Friday.

The members of the corps express their deepest condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il, the letter said, adding:

We are sure that under your leadership the entire party and army and all the people of the DPRK will overcome the sorrow and display strength and courage to achieve greater victory in building a thriving nation.

On the same day consolatory letters to Kim Jong Un from military attaches of the Vietnamese, Cuban, Egyptian, Iranian and Russian embassies and the military, naval and air attache of the Chinese embassy were conveyed to an official concerned.
