Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The papers of Vietnam and Bangladesh carried special write-ups on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il on Dec. 20.

The Vietnamese paper Quan Doi Nhan Dan carried an article titled "Great leader of the Korean people" illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary activities. It noted the life of Kim Jong Il is just the history of modern Korea.

The article gave a detailed account of the fact that he glorified the Juche idea as the great guiding idea in the era of independence and developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an eternal party of President Kim Il Sung and the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power which nobody can provoke and provided the historic June 15 north-south joint declaration, a limestone of national reunification.

He was deeply respected by the world public for his noble personality and undying feats, it noted.

The Bangladeshi paper Blits carried an article titled "Wish of leader Kim Jong Il" illustrated with his portrait.

It said that Kim Jong Il dedicated himself to the happiness of the people all his life.

It was thanks to his dedication that the DPRK could emerge a satellite producer and launcher and a nuclear weapons state to join the ranks of a few countries possessing those things in the world and the Juche-based industry made rapid progress in the era of great surge, the article noted, adding:

The Korean people will always hold him in high esteem calling him "father".
