Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- On display at the Korean Revolution Museum are a certificate of DPRK Hero, Gold Star Medal and Order of National Flag 1st Class awarded to anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

They show the great revolutionary exploits she performed for President Kim Il Sung and the revolution.

Before joining the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, Kim Jong Suk made a resolve to venerate President Kim Il Sung as the sun of the nation and always follow the sun like star.

The resolve was based on her unshakable will to devotedly defend the President. She was true to the resolve all her life.

She defended the President politically and ideologically and at the risk of her life and implanted his revolutionary line in people's mind in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

After the liberation of the country, she continued creditably ensuring the safety of the President, while conducting energetic activities to rally people from all walks of life around him.
