Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association issued a statement on Dec. 22 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The statement said:

Upon hearing the unbelievable news that HE Kim Jong Il passed away, we are mourning for him in humblest reverence, looking up to his benevolent image.

Invariable is our mind revering him and we are still now in bitter sorrow and grief with longing for him.

Although he passed away, his brilliant feats will remain forever in the hearts of the world progressives and the Korean people.

We are full of conviction that the Korean revolution will surely emerge victorious as it is led by Comrade Kim Jong Un who is identical to leader Kim Jong Il.

We will in the future, too, fully support the Korean people in their efforts to accomplish the Korean revolution at any cost, true to the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
