Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Lucas Nguema Esono, general secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, together with members of its leadership visited the DPRK embassy in Malabo on Dec. 21 to express condolences over demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They paid a silent tribute to the memory of Kim Jong Il in front of his portrait.

The general secretary wrote in the condolence book:

The Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, on behalf of HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, its founder-chairman, expresses deep condolences to the Workers' Party of Korea suffering sorrow at the irrevocable loss of respected HE Kim Jong Il and extends solidarity to the fraternal Korean people spending unbearable hours.
