Pyongyang December 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of condolences from Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Dec. 23.

The king, in the message, said that he and the queen were deeply saddened to learn about the sad news of the demise of leader Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

He extended sympathy and condolences to Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK over the tremendous loss to the country and its people.
