Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory has a large-scale bean milk workshop built for children on the initiative of leader Kim Jong Il.

In his lifetime, he took measures to produce bean milk on a normal basis and provide the factory with up-to-date equipment.

When visiting the factory in July ten years ago, he highly appreciated the employees for having operated the factory non-stop in the period of the Arduous March when the country was in hard time.

The employees are now seized with grief at the demise of Kim Jong Il, but they continue producing bean milk, changing the grief into strength and courage.

A worker Kim Kyong Hui told KCNA:

"Leader Kim Jong Il said in his lifetime that it was his desire to have bean milk supplied to children on a regular basis. We are sorely missing him, who passed away after taking all necessary measures for the bean milk production for children."

The head of the workshop, Ri Yong Hui, said, "We deem it our duty to materialize leader Kim Jong Il's noble view of children. We will faithfully uphold the idea and leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il."
