Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Naguib Sawiris, former executive chairman of the Orascom Telecom Holding of Egypt, visited the DPRK embassy in Cairo on December 21 to express condolences on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

I can never forget the day when I was honored with the audience of leader Kim Jong Il during my visit to the DPRK, he said, adding that he was an excellent person.

He expressed the resolve to keep the promise made to Kim Jong Il.

He wrote in the condolence book:

I express my deepest condolences with bitter grief on the demise of the great leader, a great and tender-hearted person whom I personally met and hold in high esteem as my best friend and my elder brother.

The memory of him will remain in our hearts.
