Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairman of the C.C., Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), together with members of its Leadership, visited the DPRK embassy in Katmandu on Tuesday to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Those who called at the DPRK embassy to pay last respects to him from Tuesday to Thursday were Darmendra Raj Bastala, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the UCPN, Chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe and members of the C.C., the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party, the president of the United People's Front of Nepal, the chairman of the Revolutionary Students Union of Nepal, the chairman of the Revolutionary Youth Union of Nepal, the chairman and members of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal and the chairwoman and members of the Nepal Women's Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before a portrait of Kim Jong Il and paid a silent tribute.
