Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a condolence message from Jose Eduardo Dos Santos, president of Angola Tuesday.

The message said:

It was with bitter grief and sorrow that I heard the news that HE Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, passed away from illness.

At this time of loss, I, on behalf of the government of Angola and on my own, express the most profound condolences to Your Excellency and the government and people of the DPRK in reverence for the leader of the DPRK who worked hard for the peaceful reunification of the country.
