Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Papers and broadcasting services of various countries carried special write-ups and articles on Dec. 19 to mark the 20th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army.

The Bangladeshi newspaper Natun Bangla dedicated to the day an article titled "Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il" illustrated with his portrait.

By having Kim Jong Il as supreme commander of the KPA, the DPRK could make a dynamic advance along the road of socialism and demonstrate its might as an invincible power despite the imperialists' intensified moves to stifle it, the article said, and went on:

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, formulating the Songun political mode, the first of its kind in the world history of politics.

Thanks to his Songun politics the political and ideological base of the DPRK grew stronger in all aspects and the single-minded unity of the Korean society became so solid that no nuclear weapon could ever break.

The Cambodian newspaper Kmae Amata carried an article titled "Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il, 1991-2011" accompanied with a photo showing him acknowledging the cheers of paraders from the tribune of honor of Kim Il Sung Square.

A broadcasting service of Cambodia introduced the undying Songun leadership feats of the peerlessly great man two times.

The Guinean newspaper Horoya edited an article praising Kim Jong Il as ideal supreme commander possessed of high political caliber and extraordinary military qualifications illustrated with a picture showing his revolutionary activities.
