Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The Pioneer Party of Indonesia issued a statement on Dec. 22 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The statement said:

The demise of HE Kim Jong Il who was source of strength and destiny of the Korean nation is the greatest loss to the Workers' Party, the government and the people of Korea.

He dedicated all his life only to the prosperity of the country and the happiness and well-being of its people, regarding the people as his teacher. Not only the Korean people but also the world progressive people deeply grieve over his demise.

We all members of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia express profound condolences over his demise.

We hope that the bereaved families and the Korean people will weather the present difficulties and display strength and courage and carry forward the noble cause of HE Kim Jong Il and carve out a rosy future under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The great leader HE Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressive people.
