Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of condolences from Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organization, on Dec. 22.

The director-general in the message expressed condolences over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il on behalf of the WHO.

The WHO reiterates its support to the efforts of the people of the DPRK for the improvement of the residents' health conditions, it said.

It expressed condolences to the people of the DPRK.
