Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the Guinean People's Assembly consisting of its General Secretary Cisse Saloun and its leadership members paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in Conakry on Dec. 22 over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The general secretary said:

The demise of HE General Secretary Kim Jong Il is a very painful loss not only to the Korean people but to the Guinean people and the peoples of the rest of the world.

HE General Secretary Kim Jong Il was a staunch defender and advocator of global independence and the greatest leader.

We hope that the Workers' Party and people of Korea will overcome the grief and surely achieve the cause of building a thriving nation as desired by HE Kim Jong Il true to the leadership of General Comrade Kim Jong Un.

He made an entry in the mourners' book.
