Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and former deputy president of the Senate of Nigeria, and M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and his party paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy on Dec. 20 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. They laid flowers before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and observed a moment's silence. Ibrahim Mantu said: The demise of HE Kim Jong Il is a great loss not only to the Korean people but also to the whole mankind. I am sure that though he passed away, the Korean people will overcome their sorrow with indomitable will and steadily advance the Korean revolution under the leadership of General Kim Jong Un. M. M. Alhassan said: Charmed by the personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man, I am traveling the road of study and dissemination of the Juche idea of my own accord, not at other's request. I keenly experience how great loss his demise is. Meanwhile, diplomatic envoys of Ghana and Burundi to Nigeria paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy on Dec. 19 and 20. |
