30000 Service Stands and 10000 Medical Posts Set up

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- One week has passed since Koreans lost leader Kim Jong Il, father of the nation.

Service stands and medical posts have been set up close to mourning sites across the country as mourners suffer from growing pain of loss.

According to information available, more than 30,000 service stands and at least 10,000 medical posts have been established across the country as of December 24 where services and medical treatment for mourners are provided.

At least 450 hot water stands and more than 100 flower stands as well as 360-odd makeshift buildings have been set up in Pyongyang.

More than 1,660 medical workers and at least 210 ambulances are on standby.

Stands and posts are on the steady increase.

This was at the instructions of respected Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, caring for the people visiting the mourning sites in the cold weather.
