Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- A committee for mourning the demise of leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Indonesia on Friday.

Eko Suryo Santjojo, general chairman of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, was elected chairman of the mourning committee.

The committee declared that it would hold mourning events in the period from Dec. 23 to 29 and the party members would pay a silent tribute to the memory of Kim Jong Il before any party meeting.
