Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received condolatory messages from party leaders of different countries between Dec. 19 and 22 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included a joint message from President Alberto Moreno Lohas, General Secretary Rolando Brena Pantoja of the C.C., Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland).

Among them were also messages from Sergio Rubens De Araujo Torres, national president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, Nurdin Purnomo, chairman of the National Leading Council of the Diversity Unity Party of Indonesia, Prakash Karat, general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of India (Marxist), Ali Houdou, president of the Socialist Party of Benin, Tan Sri Koh Tsu Kon, president of the Malaysian People's Movement, A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party and chief of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Kyrgyzstan and Cha Soi Lek, president of the Malaysian Chinese Association.

The messages expressed condolences to Kim Jong Un, the WPK and the Korean people on the demise of Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un also received a condolence message from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ecuador on Dec. 19.
