Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The Panel of Agricultural Workers of the North Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers in the DPRK received a message of condolences from the Peasants Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, the Panel of Youth and Students from the Headquarters of Youth and Students, the Women's Panel from the Headquarters of Women and the Academic Panel from the Academic Headquarters on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il on Dec. 21 and 23.

The messages expressed condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission who provided the landmark for national reunification and its guideline, the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Meanwhile, a joint message of condolences came on Dec. 23 from 13 regional headquarters of the South Side Committee (Seoul, Inchon, Pusan, Ulsan, Taejon, Kyonggi Province, North Jolla Province, Kwangju-South Jolla Province, Taegu-North Kyongsang Province, South Kyongsang Province, North and South Chungchong Provinces and Jeju).
