Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The representative of the secretary general of the International Maritime Organization on Dec. 21 paid a condolatory visit to the DPRK embassy in London over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il before his portrait.

He wrote in the mourners' book:

I, on behalf of the secretary general of the International Maritime Organization and our staff members, express the deepest condolences to all the Korean people and the government of the DPRK over the demise of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
