Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Personages of foreign countries and international organizations paid condolatory visits to the DPRK missions in Italy and France and at the UN between Dec. 21 and 23 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included the assistant director-general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations who is acting director-general of the FAO, its chief of protocol, the vice-president and the secretary general of the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the deputy director-general for information of the UNESCO, the vice-director of the Regional Bureau for Asia and Pacific and the section chief for Northeast Asia and Mekong region of the UNDP, the vice-chairman of the Korean Association in the U.S., the Lao ambassador to France and the Cuban and Lebanese representatives at UNESCO.

They expressed deepest condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il.
