Demise of Kim Jong Il Mourned in Nepal and Britain

Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Nepali political party and personages and British organizations issued statements on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The Central Committee of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) in a statement on December 21 noted Kim Jong Il was a prominent leader of the socialist movement and the kind-hearted father of the people. General Secretary Rambahadur Thafa and Vice-President Mohan Vaidyo of its Central Committee in a joint statement on Dec. 22 hoped that the Workers' Party of Korea would defend the sovereignty of the nation and build a thriving country and boost solidarity with the world progressive people along the road indicated by Kim Jong Il. The Stoke-on-Trent Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a statement on December 21 noted it would make positive efforts for eternally glorifying the noble life and feats of Kim Jong Il, intensifying the study and dissemination of the Juche idea and promoting friendship with the Korean people. The British Branch of Korean Friendship Association in a statement on the same day expressed conviction that though Kim Jong Il demised to everybody's regret, the Korean people would overcome the present sorrow with strength and courage and more dynamically advance for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea. |
