Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- In his huge pictures displayed in the mourning sites, leader Kim Jong Il wears plain jacket with a broad smile on his face.

The Korean people have got used to seeing their leader in jacket.

He had usually put on jacket while inspecting army units and providing field guidance to industrial establishments and farms.

One day he told President Kim Il Sung that the Korean people had lived a happy life in suits and neckties as the President had spared no pain for the country and people, always wearing a close-buttoned jacket. He also said the Korean people had felt remorseful for seeing the President still wearing the jacket though he was over 72 years old.

Touched by what he said, the President said he still had many things to do for the people and that he had accustomed himself to the jacket.

Then Kim Jong Il said that he would put on jacket all his life in the place of the President and work hard for the people.

From that time on, leader Kim Jong Il had always put on the jacket and successfully carried forward the leadership of the President.

He is still in the jacket, encouraging the people to creditably accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started in Mt. Paektu, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea.
