Young Chongryon Officials Pledge Loyalty to Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Cha Dol, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan said it is unbelievable that they can no longer see Kim Jong Il, great teacher and benevolent father, when interviewed by KCNA on Dec. 27. He is heading the delegation of the officials of new generation of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on a visit to the homeland to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il was a symbol of the victory and glory of the country and the nation and Chongryon and compatriots in Japan, he said, and went on:

We, all youths of Chongryon, have entrusted our destiny to him.

We could have worked with confidence in an alien land as we had the mainstay.

Kim Jong Il led the youths of the rising generation to creditably carry forward the Chongryon's patriotic cause.

It was thanks to him that we have grown up to be the pillar of the movement of Koreans in Japan and the Koreans' community.

He was really a kind-hearted father who opened a rosy future for us.

We will never get disappointed before the tremendous loss and sorrow.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un represents our destiny and future as he has thoroughly inherited the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il.

The new generation of Chongryon will give a successful continuity to the patriotic cause of Chongryon under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
